HOST COMMITTEE LAUNCHES VOLUNTEER DRAFT
The Tampa Bay Super Bowl Host Committee is now drafting its team of volunteers to ensure Super Bowl XLIII is a great success. More than 6,000 enthusiastic ambassadors are needed to welcome the world to our community in 2009. The official volunteer application is available online at www.TampaBaySuperBowl.com.
Volunteers will be stationed across Tampa Bay at airports and hotels, offering visitors a warm welcome and a helping hand during game week. These key ambassadors will give more than 100,000 visitors their first impressions of our community. Additionally, a majority of volunteers will be needed at the NFL Experience, a family-oriented, football theme park that opens the weekend before Super Bowl Sunday. Volunteers will manage and supervise interactive games, displays, autograph signings and much more.
All participants must be at least 18-years-old and will be required to work two four-hour shifts. Although there are no game tickets or volunteer opportunities available inside the stadium on game day, the Host Committee will provide all participants with training and an official volunteer uniform.
