The National Football League expects more than 3,500 credentialed media to cover Super Bowl XLIII including more than 400 international media. Media credential requests for Super Bowl XLIII will be handled by the NFL. Interested media should visit www.nflmedia.com and register online. Credential applications will most likely be available in the fall of 2008.
Where will media stay for Super Bowl XLIII?
More than 19,000 hotel rooms are under contract for use by the NFL during Super Bowl. These rooms were secured as part of the original bid and will be assigned by the League office to credentialed media.
How many times has Tampa hosted the Super Bowl?
Super Bowl XLIII will be Tampa Bay's fourth time to host the game and the second Super Bowl at Raymond James Stadium. Tampa Bay becomes one of only four cities to have hosted the Super Bowl on at least four occasions.
Will Gasparilla take place during Super Bowl weekend like last time?
Tampa Bay's Gasparilla Pirate Festival will be held the weekend after Super Bowl XLIII.
