There will be several community outreach events taking place during Super Bowl week. See below for some higlights and stay tuned for the latest details.

The NFL Experience
The NFL Experience is the largest annual sports festival of its kind, with over 2.2 million people attending since 1992. The 2009 NFL Experience will encompass one million square feet on the south side of Raymond James Stadium, and will include more than 50 different activities such as games, exhibits, card shows, television broadcasts, radio broadcasts, the Super Bowl Store, clinics and live entertainment. The event is open to the public with the purchase of NFL Experience tickets. It will be open on January 24 - January 25, 2009 and from January 29 - February 1, 2009. Taste of the NFL
Known as the "Party with a Purpose," the Taste of the NFL is a sanctioned Super Bowl event featuring the cuisine of top chefs from each of the 32 NFL team cities and wine from E&J Gallo Winery's extensive selections. Taste of the NFL is hosted by current and former NFL players. All proceeds from the event will support hunger relief in Tampa Bay as well as all other NFL cities.

In addition to fine dining and wine, guests will take part in a silent auction of sports and entertainment memorabilia, as well as other one-of-a-kind items, and enjoy entertainment from some of the country's most popular acts. Super Bowl Breakfast
The 22nd Annual Super Bowl Breakfast, presented by Athletes in Action, will take at the University of South Florida SunDome in Tampa on Saturday, January 31, 2009. The Breakfast will feature the presentation of the Bart Starr Award to a current NFL player for outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field and in the community. Bart Starr, Tony Dungy, Anthony Munoz and other well-known athletes and coaches will also be on the program.

Super Bowl Gospel Celebration
On January 30, join top artists and NFL players for a night of uplifting music and inspirational messages at The 10th Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration (SBGC)—the first and only gospel concert sanctioned by the NFL. SBGC draws crowds in the thousands each year, and is one of the most well attended activities during Super Bowl weekend.

Since its inception, the event has featured Grammy Award winning and platinum-selling artists such as Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, and Donnie McClurkin. Guests include current and former NFL players like Jerry Rice, John Elway, Emmitt Smith and Ray Lewis.

Habitat SuperBuild 2009 (Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties)
SuperBuild 2009 is bringing the game home for both football fans and families in need of safe, affordable houses. Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties are joining forces to provide 20 families with homes by staging SuperBuild 2009 in conjunction with the NFL's Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Florida. Three weeks of "blitz" building by Tampa Bay area volunteers will culminate in the ultimate tailgate giveaway.

On Super Bowl Sunday, volunteers and fans will build a Habitat home to be awarded to a Habitat affiliate in the home state of the winning Super Bowl team. Find out how you can be a part of this special build. Please click here!

Rebuilding Together 14th Annual "Kickoff to Rebuild" Comes to Tampa
Join Rebuilding Together for the 14th annual Kickoff to Rebuild. This year, the events will be hosted by local affiliate Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay (RTTB) on a supersized scale aimed at revitalizing historic West Tampa. The projects in partnership with the NFL celebrate Rebuilding Together's work of preserving affordable homeownership and revitalizing communities. This year, over 500 community volunteers including superstars of the NFL will volunteer to provide free home repairs and renovations that embrace energy efficiency and healthy housing principles. Souper Bowl of Caring
Souper Bowl of Caring, a national non-profit organization, utilizes Super Bowl weekend to mobilize youth in the fight against hunger and poverty in their local communities. The program encourages youth to participate in a hands-on volunteering "Service Blitz" the Saturday before the Super Bowl at the organization of their choice, as well as organize collections of money or food on or near Super Bowl Sunday. 100% of the donations are donated directly to the charity as selected by each participating group. Super Bowl Youth Football Clinics
The NFL's Super Bowl Youth Football Clinics will take place at the NFL Experience, and will be open to boys and girls 6-12 years old who are attending NFL Experience with their families and friends. NFL players will be on site to serve as instructors and motivational speakers. The NFL Play 60 program's life skill messages will be incorporated into the clinics as well, to promote healthy fitness and eating habits among youth. Super Bowl NFL Charities Celebrity Bowling Classic and Golf Classic
NFL Charities will hold the Celebrity Bowling Classic and Celebrity Golf Classic benefiting the Tampa NFL Youth Education Town Centers in Jackson Heights and Mort Park. Both events will include former and current NFL players - including members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame - heading up teams of amateur bowlers and golfers. Proceeds will specifically go toward the centers' counseling, educational mentoring and recreational programs. The Celebrity Bowling Classic will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the Pinchasers Bowling Alley on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa, and the Celebrity Golf Classic will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. NFL Charities Youth Bowling Clinic
The NFL Charities Youth Bowling Clinic will take place Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Pinchasers Bowling Alley on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. The event will allow a total of 30 youth from the Jackson Heights and Mort Park Tampa Youth Education Town (YET) centers to be the guests of NFL Charities for a workshop to learn the basics of the game. Professional bowlers will conduct the clinic and provide one-on-one instruction for the participants.

Pro Football Hall of Fame Luncheon
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Luncheon will take place on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. More than 250 guests will take part in a reception and lunch with Pro Football Hall of Fame members.
